Billing Specialist

Billing SpecialistRubin Lublin is seeking a full time Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and an effective communicator with strong customer service and computer skills. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing billing activity and ensuring invoices are created in accordance with client requirements and established deadlines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Create, review, and bill attorney fees and costs accurately and within established client billing deadlinesReview billing charges for accuracy and ensure required supporting documentation and approvals are obtained prior to invoice submissionPerform assigned responsibilities in accordance with established team procedures and deadlinesRespond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and accurate mannerCommunicate regularly with the department manager, coordinator, and other departments regarding billing mattersMonitor for billing rate discrepancies and invoice disputes and escalate issues as appropriateCorrespond with clients regarding invoice submissions, billing inquiries, and questions related to invoiced chargesPerform additional responsibilities as neededRequired Qualifications and Skills:Experience with billing large volume of invoices on a daily basisProficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Adapt to changing conditions and work in fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Preferred Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degreeKnowledge of real estate foreclosure and bankruptcy processExperience in one of the following areas (billing, invoicing, accounts receivable)Experience using CaseAwareExperience using invoicing platforms (ICE, CoreLogic's iClear, Serengeti, Tempo etc.)Experience within a Law Firm that specializes in Default Law in the Non-Judicial Arena of Bankruptcy and Foreclosure ProcessesAbout the firm:Value, honesty, reliability, integrity, and diversityCommitted to core values of superior customer service to clients, respecting the rights of consumers, treating clients and consumers with dignitySalary, benefits package, paid parental leave offeredTeam building events, holiday and birthday celebrationsA successful candidate must pass a background check and be able to provide two professional references.Pre-Employment RequirementsAll employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of:Background checkDrug screeningVerification of employment eligibility in the United StatesProfessional reference checksDepending on the nature of the role, candidates may also be subject to criminal and/or credit history reviews as permitted by law.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementRubin Lublin, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
