Certified Forklift Operator and Inventory Clerk

This role involves purchasing and receiving project materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and safely operating forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. You will be essential in ensuring smooth warehouse operations with a Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM schedule and the potential for long-term employment.
Job Details
- LOCATION: Wylie, TX 75098
- POSITION: Contract to hire
- SCHEDULE: 7AM – 4PM M-F
- PAY: 18.00hr

Responsibilities
- Purchase and maintain all project materials
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
- Load and unload trucks following shipping and receiving procedures
- Move materials within the warehouse efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs
- Assist with general warehouse organization and housekeeping
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating a forklift (valid certification preferred)
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience
- Skills in inventory control, shipping, and receiving
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to safety
- Team player with a positive attitude
