Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to understand clients' needs and formulate personalized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.

• Provide both short-term and long-term psychotherapy for individuals, families, or groups, adapting your approach to meet the varied needs of your caseload.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in adherence to clinic policies and state regulations to ensure compliance and uphold patient confidentiality.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and fellow therapists to establish coordinated care pathways for clients, engaging in case discussions and sharing insights at team consultations.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay informed about best practices in the field.

• Advocate for clients' needs, connecting them with additional resources, which may include community programs, support groups, or health services to ensure a comprehensive support network.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, families, and individuals who face various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. A significant focus will be placed on supporting students and their families within the school setting, helping them navigate emotional and social difficulties that may impact their academic success and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A current LCSW license in the state of New York is required.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, though newly licensed LCSWs are welcome to apply.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and trauma-informed care practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
