Job Details Location: Knoxville, TN Hours: 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday with rotating weekends (First Shift) Schedule: 40 hrs per week Job Category: Laboratory Operations Company: American Esoteric Labs Responsibilities Perform a vital part of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testing. Analyze, review, and report testing results. Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions. Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards. Champion safety, compliance, and quality control. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an AMA‑approved Medical Laboratory training program to qualify as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent preferred and completion of an AMA‑approved program of Medical Technology to qualify as a Medical Technologist (MT). Current TN licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT). Certification or eligible by ASCP or equivalent. 6 months of laboratory training or experience. Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
