Job Title: Tig Welder
Location: Elgin, IL
Job Type and Duration: Direct Hire
Pay range: 24-28/hr

Overview:
Under general supervision our TIG Welders fabricate stainless steel assemblies for food packaging equipment. We work mainly with 16ga up to 1" stainless steel. Welders fabricate and weld in their own workstation with all consumables provided.

Responsibilities:

• ssemble components to strict tolerances and standards.
• Food grade welding and grinding.
• Safe operation of machines and tools.
• Perform any assembly-type functions using hand or power tools.
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
• Follow workplace safety standards.
• ssist team members if needed to meet daily production goals.
• ssist in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• bility to communicate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certificate in welding from accredited school preferred but not required.
• bility to read and understand mechanical blueprints.
• Welding hood and work boots required.
• Good mechanical ability and manual dexterity are essential (able to stand for long periods of time).
• ble to safely lift up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies.
• Capable of adhering to Standard Work.
• bility to work as part of a team.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen including THC.
