Title Escrow Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Escrow Officer/Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the escrow process for real estate transactions (commercial and residential), ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and facilitating smooth transactions between buyers, sellers, and lenders. This role requires a strong understanding of loan processing, contracts, and regulatory requirements. Duties Oversee the entire escrow process from initiation to closing, ensuring all documents are accurate and complete. Review and prepare closing documents, including settlement statements and title policies. Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to gather necessary information for transactions. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and TILA requirements throughout the escrow process. Conduct thorough reviews of loan files to verify accuracy in loan processing and underwriting. Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications related to escrow accounts. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks related to escrow documentation. Skills Proficient in loan processing, with a solid understanding of FNMA guidelines. Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations related to escrow transactions. Knowledge of underwriting processes and requirements in the real estate industry. Familiarity with escrow procedures and contract management is essential. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
