Director of Accounting
$75 - $105 per hourLHH
LHH is supporting a well-renowned client in the Non-Profit space who is seeking an Interim Director of Accounting. This role will be on an open-ended contract basis. This opportunity could require some in-office work in Manhattan, NY. Prior industry experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including grants accounting, treasury, internal audit, etc.
- Lead month end close processes
- Manage financial statement preparation under GAAP standards
- Oversee preparation of Form 990 report
- Manage cash flow and banking relationships
- Lead process improvement
- Assist with long-term financial planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA highly preferred
- Non-profit industry experience is required
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus; Strong Excel skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation: $75 - $105/hr, depending on experience.
