Financial Controller

Hudson Street Hospitality is growing, and we're looking for a numbers-savvy hospitality pro to help keep our back-office running as smoothly as our front-of-house. If you live for clean reconciliations, accurate P&Ls, and POS reports that actually make sense, let's talk.

We operate a collection of NYC hospitality venues and have invested heavily in automation and technology to take the busywork out of accounting. We need someone who's either already fluent in tools like Toast, MarginEdge, and Fintech — or who can pick up new systems fast and run with them.

What You'll Own

• Day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations (bank, credit card, merchant processing, payroll)
• AP and vendor management
• Daily sales/POS reporting and GL accuracy
• Month-end/year-end close support
• Labor cost monitoring, payroll reporting, and compliance tracking
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow support
• Cross-team coordination with ownership, ops leadership, and outside accountants
• HR/payroll administration as needed

What You Bring

• 3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping/controller experience in restaurants, bars, hotels, or hospitality
• Hands-on experience with Toast POS, MarginEdge, and Fintech
• Working knowledge of NYC/NYS labor laws and hospitality payroll practices
• Sharp attention to detail and strong Excel/Google Workspace skills
• Excellent communication — you can talk numbers with both accountants and operators

Need to Haves

• Paycom or Ramp experience
• Multi-unit hospitality background
• HR/onboarding support experience
• Controller-level reporting and analysis chops
