This role provides hands-on HR support in employee onboarding, HR systems, recruiting and general support of the full employee lifecycle administration. This position requires strong attention to detail, customer service, sound judgment & strong collaboration. Key Responsibilities Performs clerical & customer service functions for the HR & Recruiting department. Assists HR Generalists with new hire onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork, I-9s completion. Processes new hire background checks & drug screens. Creating & maintain employee files. Pulls multiple HR reports on regular cadence. Maintains & updates EEO data spreadsheets. Performs verifications of employment. Process terminations & conducts exit interviews. Help maintain HR policy and employee handbook updates. Track candidates and hiring activity in ATS. Assists with recruitment by scheduling interviews & drafting offer letters. Performs other related duties as assigned. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000.(The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience). Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures is a plus. Familiarity with construction and/or union workforce is a plus. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. At least two-years related HR or Admin experience required. SHRM-CP credential is a plus.
