Position Overview

Revive Strength & Mobility Rehab Center is actively looking for a passionate and committed Physical Therapist to join our team in Oakland, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will leverage your skills to restore mobility and enhance the performance of our patients. Your primary focus will be developing evidence-based treatment plans aimed at improving the overall quality of life for individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions.

We are a close-knit team, currently consisting of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), each dedicated to collaborating and sharing knowledge to optimize patient outcomes. Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, offering comprehensive services tailored to each patient's unique health journey.

Work Environment

You will work in a 5,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and technologies. Our home care setting allows us to deliver therapies that emphasize patient convenience and comfort. The work schedule is designed to promote work-life balance, with shifts running Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. This full-time position not only offers competitive compensation within the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually but also packages full benefits that include medical, dental, and retirement options.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, setting clear rehabilitation goals.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that draw on various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Maintain an optimal patient load by treating one patient per hour, allowing for personalized attention.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises aimed at restoring mobility and function.
• Advise and educate patients on non-surgical alternatives to manage symptoms and enhance recovery.
• Track progress and outcomes of treatments to adapt plans and ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments efficiently using an electronic medical records (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve overall patient well-being.
• Support and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, encouraging healthy lifestyle choices and exercise adherence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population ranges from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults dealing with post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain management. We focus on delivering care that acknowledges the physical and emotional aspects of recovery, ensuring each patient's journey is respectful, supportive, and effective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic practices.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, with strong foundations in evidence-based practice.
• Demonstrated competence in designing and implementing personalized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software (preferably WebPT) for efficient record-keeping and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Strong background in treating a varied clientele with distinct mobility challenges.
• Experience in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
