If you’re a The NDT Test Technician 2, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The NDT Test Technician 2 reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for inspecting and validating hardware per applicable processes (e.g. magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiography, radioscopy, load tests, casting inspection, penetrate inspection), and writing non-conformance reports, in an industrial setting. It’s an inclusive, positive, collaborative, and socially responsible environment where members work together for outstanding outcomes.Essential FunctionsInspect and validate hardware per applicable processes (e.g., magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiography, radioscopy, load tests, casting inspection, penetrate inspection).Develop inspection techniques and product dispositions in accordance with processing and engineering specifications.Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries accurately and in a timely manner.Communicate information to others about project status, updates, specific instructions, etc.Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting using applicable equipment.Treat materials and post clean parts per applicable work equipment.Verify the calibration of equipment and expiration dates.Identify, document and control non conforming material according to procedures.Other FunctionsPromote teamwork within the organization.What We Are Looking ForTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
