2nd Shift NDT Technician (M-F 3:30PM - 12AM)

About the Role We are looking for a NDT Test Technician 2 to report to the manufacturing supervisor. The role involves inspecting and validating hardware using various non‑destructive testing (NDT) methods such as magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiography, radioscopy, load tests, casting inspection, and penetration inspection. The Technician will write non‑conformance reports and work independently with limited supervision. Responsibilities Inspect and validate hardware per applicable processes (magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiography, radioscopy, load tests, casting inspection, penetration inspection). Develop inspection techniques and product dispositions in accordance with processing and engineering specifications. Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate information about project status, updates, and specific instructions to others. Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting using applicable equipment. Treat materials and post‑clean parts per applicable work equipment. Verify calibration of equipment and expiration dates. Identify, document, and control non‑conforming material according to procedures. Promote teamwork within the organization. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Less than 2 years of related work experience required. Knowledge of and ability to use basic hand tools (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.). Knowledge of part‑special handling guidelines and specifications. Knowledge of continuous improvement processes. Knowledge of how quality impacts organizational success, including cost implications. Proficiency with computer and web‑based systems for data entry and communication. Strong written and verbal communication skills. General knowledge of machines and equipment functionality. Manual dexterity and the ability to work quickly with hands. Demonstrated eagerness, enthusiasm, optimism, ownership and willingness to learn. Ability to interact cooperatively and collaboratively with others, including those with divergent views. Ability to handle stressful work situations and time pressures. Ability to process multiple types of information and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Vision and attention to detail required. Licenses and Certifications NAS-410 Certified Level 2 required.
