Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays

Highlights:

• Mixed-acuity unit open to both PCU and Med/Surg travelers based on experience and unit needs
• Care for abdominal transplant patients including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants, as well as hepatology and GI conditions
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• Interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Float required within the organization to support various units as needed
• First-time travelers welcome; candidates with one year of experience will be reviewed on an individual basis

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care or medical/surgical nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, central line care, IV management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and non-invasive airway management
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager or formal leadership role)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
