Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at LifeLong Medical Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Engage with couples in therapy sessions while also facilitating individual sessions to address personal and relational concerns.

• Specialize in family dynamics by offering counseling on various issues including, but not limited to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse challenges.
\n
• Experiences of physical or psychological abuse.
\n
• Support groups for grief and loss.
\n
• Resolution for conflicts among family members or siblings.
\n
• Facilitation of communication and resolution between family-related cut-offs.
\n
• Strategies for managing job-related stress and medical issues.
\n
• Support for blended families navigating the remarriage process.
\n
• Guidance through separation and divorce adjustments.
\n
• Addressing mother/daughter relationships and communication difficulties.
\n
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that looks beyond symptoms to address root causes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will consist of diverse populations including adults, children, and adolescents. Qualifications\n

• You must possess a valid, active LMFT license in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
