Legal Recruiting Specialist - NYC Law Firm - Hybrid - $65-85k Overview The Attorney Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to attract top law students to the firm. This role requires a strong understanding of the legal industry, law schools, and student recruiting trends. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Responsibilities Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategy: Create, implement, and manage the firm’s overall student recruitment strategy, including summer associate, law clerk, and early talent programs. Law School Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with law schools, faculty, and career services offices. On-Campus Recruiting: Coordinate and execute on-campus recruiting efforts, including attending career fairs, conducting information sessions, and interviewing potential candidates. Diversity and Inclusion: Develop and implement initiatives to attract a diverse pool of law students. Candidate Assessment: Evaluate candidate qualifications and recommend top talent for further consideration. Offer Extension and Negotiation: Participate in the offer extension process and negotiate terms with successful candidates. Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and execute recruitment events, such as summer associate receptions and diversity events. Budget Management: Manage the student recruitment budget and track expenses. Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Team Management: Oversee and mentor a team of recruitment coordinators or interns. Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in legal recruiting from law firm setting is required. Strong understanding of the legal industry and law school landscape. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems. Ability to travel as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
