Customer Service Representative Location: Pompano Beach, FL (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Max Pay Rate: $17.00/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support daily transportation and delivery operations. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, business partners, and drivers, ensuring timely issue resolution and an outstanding customer experience. You will handle customer inquiries, monitor delivery routes, process order changes, and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced customer service environment. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer and business partner inquiries via phone and email.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally while providing timely resolutions.
- Diagnose, investigate, and resolve service-related issues.
- Monitor delivery routes and provide delivery status updates.
- Process order modifications, cancellations, and delivery changes.
- Scan and verify Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and haul-away records.
- Coordinate with drivers and internal teams to ensure timely service.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and service requests.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting quality and productivity goals.
- Support additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or call center experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a transportation, logistics, or delivery environment.
- Experience supporting dispatch or delivery operations.
- Previous call center experience.
- Experience working with customers via phone and email.
