Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an exciting opportunity working with students in Mifflin or Juniata Counties for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is seeking three Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) who are passionate about fostering communication skills and student success. While the main office is based in McVeytown, assignments may be at various locations within the region, and caseloads will be individualized following your interview.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license meeting state certification requirements
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to work full-time (35 hours per week) for the full academic year
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs
• Conduct evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in alignment with students’ educational goals
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with local and state guidelines
• Adapt to caseload assignments and locations as directed post-interview

You’ll have the chance to shape students’ educational experiences across the 2026-27 academic year, with responsibilities from September 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Caseloads are tailored post-interview, ensuring a role suited to your expertise and interests.
