Psychometrist – Harborview Medical Center Neuropsychological Testing Lab The Neuropsychological Testing Lab serves patients across the UW Medicine system, focusing primarily on referrals from Harborview Regional Epilepsy Center, UW Neurology, and affiliated clinics. This full‑time position (40 hours per week, Day Shift Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm) involves direct patient care and the administration and scoring of standardized cognitive tests to assist in the diagnosis of adult patients with neurological disorders. Primary Responsibilities Administer standardized cognitive tests in accordance with established policies and procedures. Accurately score tests, report data, and summarize behavioral observations. Ensure the integrity and quality of collected clinical data. Communicate effectively with team members and administrative staff. Attend meetings and patient rounds as needed. Maintain test equipment and assist with ordering supplies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science. Prior experience with neuropsychological testing preferred. Competent computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.). Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to evaluate and elicit cooperation from patients with cognitive, behavioral, and psychiatric problems. Highly motivated, organized, and strong attention to detail. Excellent observational skills and the ability to record observations.
