Role Description The Medical Assistant or LPN will support clinicians by performing both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced precision and concierge medicine environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, collecting and processing laboratory specimens, and maintaining accurate electronic health records. The role also involves coordinating patient flow, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and providing clear instructions for diagnostic tests and treatment plans. The Medical Assistant will promote a welcoming and professional patient experience, ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols, and collaborate closely with physicians and staff to support personalized care plans. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coral Gables, FL.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong clinical support skills, including taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, performing phlebotomy or specimen collection, and following infection control and safety protocols.
• Candidates should possess solid patient communication and service skills, including compassionate bedside manner, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to educate patients on instructions and follow-up care.
• Candidates should possess administrative and organizational skills, such as scheduling, managing phone calls, maintaining accurate medical records (preferably in an EHR), and efficiently coordinating patient flow.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail and technical skills, including comfort with electronic health systems, basic data entry, and accurate documentation of clinical information.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or LPN program; certification or registration (e.g., CMA, RMA) is preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical office or outpatient clinical setting; experience in concierge or precision medicine is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, adapt to evolving protocols, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory tests, genomics, or hormone and wellness-focused care is beneficial, along with a genuine interest in preventive and longevity medicine. Phlebotomy certification is required.
