Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet client needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' relational and mental health status to inform personalized treatment plans.

• Employ family systems theory and systemic interventions in addressing complex family dynamics, enhancing communication, and resolving relational conflicts.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support when needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and their families.
\n
• Document and maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.

• Educate clients on effective communication techniques, conflict resolution skills, and coping mechanisms to foster emotional resilience.

• Engage in collaborative practices with other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, including referrals to psychiatrists or social workers as needed.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying current with the latest research and advancements in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Harmony House, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. Our clients often present with a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family conflicts. Your work is pivotal in guiding them toward healing and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Tennessee.

• A master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in therapy practices, particularly in a clinical or outpatient setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• A capacity for both independent work and collaborative engagement in a team-based environment.

• Flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs, offering appointments outside of traditional hours when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n
