Work Environment\n

This Remote position allows for a flexible work schedule, empowering you to set your caseload according to your capacity, with expectations of 10-30 billable hours per week. All sessions are conducted through telehealth platforms, with technology in place to ensure efficient service delivery. Our team collaborates both online and occasionally in-person for consultative meetings to maintain team cohesion and enhance clinical collaboration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations for clients using the most up-to-date Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), ensuring thorough and accurate assessments under the guidance of licensed psychologists or psychiatrists.

• Provide short-term psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on diverse mental health needs, including dual disorders and crisis intervention.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities and best practice guidelines to deliver care, ensuring the highest standard of clinical competency.

• Engage in treatment planning that identifies appropriate levels of care and addresses the specific needs of clients, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive support.

• Document therapy sessions meticulously, preparing written records, reports, and external communications as permitted by clients to facilitate holistic care.

• Participate actively in quality assurance and team meetings, contributing insights on client progress, complexities in cases, and collective learning opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relational issues, and substance use disorders. You will be tasked with providing culturally competent care that respects both individual and family dynamics, ensuring that interventions are tailored to the unique contexts of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida or possession of a Psy.D.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of two years of experience in providing psychotherapy services.

• Proficient in utilizing telehealth technologies and electronic health records systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within an integrated healthcare model and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and brief therapy methods.

• A strong background in evidence-based therapeutic practices, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

Psychiatric Recovery House, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
