Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans that are client-centered and evidence-based.

• Provide direct face-to-face therapy sessions using a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused therapy.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, applying your skills to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic treatment approach tailored to each client's needs.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to all regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and offer support in peer supervision settings to enhance collaborative learning among team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a spectrum of emotional and relational challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship issues, and adjustment disorders. Your expertise will help clients enhance their interpersonal skills, improve communication, and tackle mental health concerns in a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid, active LMFT license in Tennessee, in good standing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient or community mental health setting.

• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of diverse populations.

• Exceptional communication, empathy, and active listening skills essential for effective therapy.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is considered a strong advantage.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of clinical experience are required, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care, couples therapy, or child and adolescent therapy will be viewed favorably. Additionally, individuals with experience in geographical regions similar to Memphis or those who understand the unique socio-cultural challenges faced by this community will be advantageous.
