Work Environment\n

This role primarily involves remote outpatient responsibilities, allowing for flexible scheduling while ensuring a work/life balance. The ideal candidate will work a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, typically between 4 PM and 7 PM, with additional availability on weekends being a plus. Communication and collaboration within our multi-disciplinary teams are essential, as you will engage with other professionals committed to supporting our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions remotely or in clients’ homes, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs.

• Facilitate skills development through anger management techniques, social skills training, and coping strategies designed to reduce high-risk behaviors, including self-injury and physical aggression.
\n
• Support in-home behavioral interventions by enhancing decision-making skills among both youth and their caregivers.
\n
• Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team, as well as external professionals, to ensure integrated support for youth and family units.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, to uphold compliance and enhance client care.
\n
• Participate in monthly case management meetings to discuss client progress and contribute recommendations for ongoing treatment plans.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working directly with a diverse group of children aged 3 to 20, particularly those experiencing intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The aim is to help these young individuals attain emotional stability while encouraging their overall development and integration into their families and communities. Your contributions are pivotal in fostering a positive change in their lives, resulting in improved interpersonal relationships and academic performance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is essential for this position.

• You must have a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle, given the nature of providing home and community-based therapy.

• Successful candidates will need to pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of experience in delivering therapeutic support, particularly in positive behavior interventions.

• Experience in addressing the needs of children aged 3-20 and familiarity with clients facing developmental or intellectual disabilities is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to USD 80,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
