Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Summary We are a fast-growing company approximately a half hour south of Boston. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full-Time on-site bookkeeping/ junior accountant professional. This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional bookkeeping into a more strategic, growth-oriented position. The role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career path toward financial leadership while making an immediate impact on daily operations. Responsibilities Manage full cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations Maintain and reconcile the general ledger Assist in the prepare of journal entries, month-end closing activities, and financial statements Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Paylocity and Salesforce Improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls Provide backup support for payroll and compliance tasks Excellent understanding of accounts payable/receivable processes and tax regulations Strong analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of budgeting and credit analysis Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and support external audits Qualifications 5+ years of bookkeeping experience Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to analyze financial data and improve processes Education Accounting or related certification preferred Willingness to continue accounting education required Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Application Question(s) Do you have 3 or more years experience in bookkeeping/accounting?
