Restructuring Attorney (Hedge Fund)

Hedge Fund in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking Restructuring Attorney! Responsibilities Provide legal support for all aspects of company Counsel colleagues on structure of debt components of bespoke transactions. Review, draft and negotiate transactional documentation with respect to, and provide legal and structuring advice concerning investments and loans, including the formation and structuring of investments, loan documents, term sheets, non-disclosure agreements, engagement letters and other related documentation. Provide legal support and guidance in connection with all asset management matters, including loan workouts, restructurings, forbearances, foreclosures and portfolio related litigation matters. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school and member of a state bar 5+ years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department environment on the investment side Excellent attention to detail Excellent drafting and written communication skills Experience with credit documentation, restructurings, and Chapter 11 processes Familiarity with distressed or special situations investing, capital structures, and financial instruments Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to translate legal complexity into clear, actionable advice Proactive and solution-oriented Reliable and collaborative team player Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Social Capital Resources
