Veeva Vault Business Analyst

Duration: 1 year ongoing contract
Must-Have Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of Business Analyst experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, supporting commercial technology and CRM platforms.
- Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and technical requirements documentation.
- Hands-on experience supporting Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault CRM, Salesforce, and related CRM ecosystems, including integrations, data flows, APIs, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Working knowledge of commercial technology platforms such as PromoMats, Informatica, Snowflake, and Tableau.
- Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and technical teams to support solution design, testing, release management, deployment activities, and overall solution delivery.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale CRM transformation or migration initiatives.
- Prior experience working within highly regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizations.
- Exposure to both Veeva Vault CRM and Salesforce environments during enterprise-wide technology transformations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Insight Global is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support a large pharmaceutical client in Sleepy Hollow, NY. This individual will join the Commercial Digital & Technology team and lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution delivery efforts across CRM, reporting, compliance, and mobile technology initiatives.
The Technical Business Analyst will play a key role in a multi-year CRM transformation program as Veeva and Salesforce transition into separate platforms. The organization has selected Veeva Vault CRM as its future-state solution and will continue implementation through 2027-2028 while maintaining existing Salesforce capabilities. This individual will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements, supporting system design and integrations, coordinating testing efforts, assisting with release and deployment activities, and helping ensure a seamless transition for the commercial organization throughout the transformation.
