Summary Lead Real Property Space Manager oversees all bureau-owned and leased assets. This role manages department reporting to the GSA Federal Real Property Profile. Key duties include maintaining space records on amount, type, and value, while ensuring compliance with federal and agency documentation mandates. Responsibilities In this position, you will: Manage Bureau Assets Independently: Oversee all bureau-owned and leased real property assets, applying regulatory guidelines to resolve complex space management issues with minimal supervision. Direct Federal Compliance Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for department-wide reporting to the GSA Federal Real Property Profile, ensuring strict accuracy and adherence to federal mandates. Control Master Space Records: Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready data tracking the exact amount, type, and financial value of all assigned bureau real estate holdings. Formulate Documentation Solutions: Interpret federal reporting requirements to prepare, validate, and submit complex agency documentation and technical reports. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To Qualify for the ZA-III, applicants must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized equivalent to at least the GS-11 (ZA-II at NIST) level. Specialized experience is defined as: Utilizing the Federal Real Property Profile Management System (FRPP MS) or a similar centralized real property database to maintain accurate inventories of land, buildings, and structures. Assisting in the collection and verification of real property data elements such as legal interest, status, and utilization to ensure compliance with GSA reporting standards. Generating standardized reports from real property systems to support research, real estate tracking, or portfolio audits. Experience with leasing space for federal agencies via GSA. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
