Instructional Systems Specialist

As an Instructional Systems Specialist, you will:

1. Apply adult learning principles and instructional systems design (ISD) processes to create complete, self-contained training products, including instructor-led courses, e-learning solutions, blended learning programs, job aids, learning plans, curricula, and assessments.
2. Conduct task and needs analyses to determine training requirements and priorities relative to organizational needs and available resources.
3. Design and conduct formative and summative evaluations to measure training effectiveness, impact, and value.
4. Develop instructional materials and learning solutions, including assessments, job aids, instructor-led courses, e-learning modules, and blended learning products.
5. Ensure adherence to instructional systems design best practices and accessibility and interoperability requirements, including Section 508 and SCORM standards.
6. Serve as an authoritative consultant and troubleshooter for training and instructional systems design activities.
7. Consult with component customers and project managers to clarify requirements, project scope, timelines, and resource needs.
8. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure training content, delivery methods, and logistics met organizational needs.
9. Identify and recommended solutions for compliance gaps and program issues and collaborate with components to resolve deficiencies.
