Laboratory Technician

Provide physicians with accurate and reliable analytical results necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The person will work as a generalist.

Must be a MLT, MT or CLS with ASCP certification. Person can have a BS in Chemistry, Biology or Medical Technology or equivalent education and experience. At least 1 year of experience since they could work alone. Capable of performing all laboratory tests and related calculations. Ability to participate in laboratory Quality Assurance Program.

The facility is a 90+ bed regional healthcare facility, serving the residents of northern Missouri. The Lab uses up to date siemens equipment. The person will work as a generalist. The shift is Night Shift Sunday-Wednesday and the hours are 9pm-6:30am. Person will do Blood bank, Hematology and Chemistry. Microbiology experience a plus but not required. Phlebotomists on all shifts so drawing of blood is rare to non-existent. Range is $18hr-$27hr for MLT and $21hr-$32hr for MT's and shift diff is $1hr from 3pm-11pm and $1.50hr from 11pm-7am. Will offer up to 20K in student loan repayment and a sign-on/relo bonus as well.
