Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Begin an impactful career working directly with students who benefit from your support and dedication. Ten full-time contract opportunities are available for the upcoming school year with placements starting in August and extending through the academic year, with the possibility to continue for Extended School Year sessions if desired and if it remains a positive fit for you and the student.
Openings include working one-on-one as a Paraprofessional with students in both elementary (K-5) and secondary (6-12) grades. Most roles involve supporting children with emotional, behavioral, communication, or cognitive challenges, making a significant difference through daily encouragement and guidance. One position also specifically seeks a Paraprofessional Care Assistant with a medical background to support a student’s unique health needs during the school day.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience as a paraprofessional, teaching assistant, or relevant school-based support role preferred.
- Familiarity with emotional, behavioral, cognitive, or communication support strategies.
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students who have diverse learning or support needs.
- For one designated role: Medical background—such as CNA, LPN, or relevant medical support experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary education in education, psychology, social work, or related fields a plus.
