Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a vibrant special education setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to make a truly meaningful impact while providing key assistance to students with diverse needs. Serving caseloads at the elementary, middle, or high school levels—with possible opportunities in adult transition programs—you’ll play an integral role in nurturing growth and helping students reach their full potential.
Your preference for age group can be specified to best match your skills and interests. This is a fantastic position for compassionate, adaptable paraprofessionals ready to support students who require higher levels of care in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Experience as a paraprofessional in school settings, particularly with special education populations
- Comfortable and confident working with higher needs students
- Active PA clearances required
- Ability to commute daily to the campus for onsite duties and interviews
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to engage across varying age groups or caseload needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group support to special education students
- Follow educator and therapy team instructions to facilitate learning and participation
- Support classroom management and create a positive, inclusive atmosphere
- Assist with behavioral intervention strategies and daily living skills as needed
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality and professional standards
The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, ensuring you have a consistent schedule in a supportive academic environment. Onsite interviews are required, and the location is easily accessible for daily commuting.
