Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within a school setting

• Flexibility to work in both 1:1 and classroom support contexts
• Understanding of early childhood development is preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Capable of maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized or group assistance to students, ensuring engagement and participation
• Support the lead teacher with instruction, activities, and classroom management
• Observe and report on student progress and behavior to appropriate staff
• Assist with adaptations, accommodations, and daily routines to meet individual student needs
• Foster an encouraging, safe, and respectful learning environment
• Contribute to team meetings and collaborate on implementing educational plans
