Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or supporting students in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow direction and adapt to the changing needs of students and teachers
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional relevant certifications a plus)
• Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, providing instructional support
• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Foster student independence and encourage participation in educational activities
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
• Supervise students during non-classroom times, such as lunch or recess
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
