Human Resources Generalist Flower Mound, TX, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1004 Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually Department: Human Resources Reports To: CFO Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Flower Mound, TX Position Summary The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure HR programs, policies, and practices are effectively implemented across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, discreet, and knowledgeable about HR best practices and employment regulations. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, workplace concerns, and employee relations matters. Support the investigation and resolution of employee complaints and workplace issues. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation. Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture. Recruitment & Onboarding Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and support the full recruitment process. Coordinate job postings, candidate communications, interviews, background checks, and pre-employment activities. Facilitate new-hire onboarding and orientation. Ensure new employees receive required policies, forms, training, and benefits information. HR Administration Maintain HRIS records and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date. Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and employment documentation. Assist with payroll administration and resolve employee payroll-related questions. Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries. Maintain personnel files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Provide support for Accounting & Finance, as it relates to Payroll, and as and when needed. Performance & Employee Development Support performance review processes and provide guidance to managers. Assist with employee development, training, and engagement initiatives. Help coordinate employee recognition and retention programs. Compliance Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Support required employment records, audits, reporting, and compliance activities. Assist with policy development and updates as needed. General HR Support Assist with special HR projects and organizational initiatives. Provide HR data and insights to management to support workforce decisions. Partner with leadership on organizational changes, employee engagement, and workforce planning. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must possess full professional fluency (verbal and written) in both English and Spanish . Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of ADP Workforce Now experience. 2-5 years of experience in human resources or a related HR role. Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations. Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration. Experience with employee investigations and performance management. Preferred Qualifications SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification. Familiarity with federal and state employment regulations. Experience working in a growing or multi-site organization. Basic Accounting knowledge.
