Vacancy ID: PDS004759 Position Summary A postdoctoral position is available in the Flick laboratory within the UNC Blood Research Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Applicants with experience in cancer biology or coagulation/thrombosis and an interest in interdisciplinary work are encouraged to apply. Anticipated work will include cell and molecular biology, mouse tumor and thrombosis models, and translational assays in clinical coagulation. Cancer increases the risk of bleeding and clotting, and recent advances in cancer therapies have increased clotting complications. Understanding the intersection of cancer and blood biology will enhance both fields. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Ph.D. or M.D. in a biological science or related discipline. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience High initiative and enthusiasm for research, exceptional organizational skills, and strong oral and written communication skills.
