The Patient Access Representative plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient entry process for patients in outpatient services. Working within a large team environment, this role involves managing patient information, verifying insurance details, scheduling appointments, and handling communication to support overall patient access operations. The representative reports directly to the Front Office Supervisor and is essential to maintaining an organized and patient-friendly clinical setting without any travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently for outpatient services
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Enter patient data and maintain accurate records
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Manage internal and external communications related to patient access
• Resolve patient access issues and problems promptly

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in patient access roles
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• E-Clinical Works experience
