LOCATION: Onsite work in Napa or Fairfield, CA, with the requirement to travel to other sites as needed. SCHEDULE: Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday (40 hours per week), with occasional work required outside standard business hours to support community events. Building on a legacy established by both organizations in 1972, CommuniCare+OLE is a network of federally-qualified health centers with 17 sites across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties. It offers comprehensive care, including medical, dental, behavioral health and substance use treatment, nutrition, optometry, pharmacy, care coordination, referrals, and enrollment assistance to more than 70,000 individuals, and no one is turned away due to lack of insurance, immigration status, or ability to pay. Many services are offered outside of its sites, including mobile health, home visiting, and community and school-based programs. BENEFITS
JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW: The Development Associate supports the fundraising, donor engagement, and operational functions of Communicare+OLE, with a strong emphasis on annual giving, individual donor stewardship, grassroots and digital fundraising, and data-informed development strategies.
Working closely with the Development team, the Development Associate helps execute fundraising initiatives, strengthen donor relationships, support effective communications and stewardship, and contribute to building sustainable philanthropic programs that expand access to care and promote health equity throughout our communities.

9. Provide logistical and administrative support for fundraising and donor engagement events, including registration, RSVPs, guest lists, seating, vendor communication, timelines, and post-event follow-up. 10. Work independently while collaborating effectively across teams, bringing a proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach to all responsibilities. 11. Communicate with donors, colleagues, and community partners with professionalism, and sound judgment, while maintaining confidentiality in all donor-related and financial matters. 12. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, donor-centered messaging.
- High commitment to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor CRM/database systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort engaging high-net-worth donors, volunteers, and cross-functional internal partners.
- Creativity, adaptability, and desire to grow professionally with in nonprofit fundraising.
