Exciting Opportunity for a Gastroenterology Physician

We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opening for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology Physician to become part of our dedicated team in Mason City, Iowa. Our organization is a physician-owned, multi-specialty group committed to providing exceptional healthcare.

Opportunity Highlights

• Collaborate with a team consisting of one physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• On-call schedule: 1:2.
• Conduct surgeries at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital, as well as at the Ambulatory Surgery Center located on the same campus.
• Primary service area serves approximately 260,000 residents.
• Facility is a Level III Trauma Center equipped with helicopter services.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of $543,428 plus production incentives.
• Attractive bonus package totaling $70,000 over two years ($140,000 total).

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, with certification required within three years of eligibility.
• H1B and J1 visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
• All offers are subject to successful completion of references, background checks, pre-employment physicals, and drug screenings.
• Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school is mandatory.
• Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
• Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Team-oriented mindset is required.
• Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, along with an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and a Federal DEA Certificate.
