Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Deliver patient care in a Cardiac Med-Surg unit
• Administer and manage cardiac medications and drips, including Cardizem and heparin
• Operate GE telemetry and other unit equipment
• Document patient information using the Meditech system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including unit secretaries and patient care techs

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Valid RN license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EKG/cardiac rhythm identification
• Experience with Med-Surg and cardiac medications/drips
• Familiarity with EKG rhythm identification
