Front Desk Associate

Role Description The Front Desk Associate is a part-time, on-site role based at The University Club of Washington, DC. This role is responsible for greeting members and guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and providing courteous and efficient front desk service. Daily tasks include answering phones, responding to inquiries, directing calls and visitors, and assisting with reservations and bookings. The Front Desk Associate will maintain accurate records, use computer systems to update member information, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service. This role also supports general receptionist duties, helps maintain a professional lobby environment, and upholds Club standards for hospitality and member experience. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with members, guests, and colleagues. Proficient phone etiquette and receptionist duties, including answering, directing calls, and greeting visitors. Basic computer literacy for managing reservations, member records, and routine front desk documentation. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain composure in a busy environment. Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or member services is preferred. Reliability in punctuality and adherence to scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
