Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Job Details Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year. Our client is an exciting and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm in the Financial District. With over 20 attorneys and 50 support staff members, they handle a wide variety of cases including motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, Labor Law, workers’ compensation, product liability, and more. The firm is a family‑run legal practice and comprises trial attorneys dedicated to guiding accident victims and their families through litigation to obtain full compensation. Responsibilities As a detail‑oriented plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal, you will assist attorneys throughout the full lifecycle of a case—from initial fact‑gathering through discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and appellate work. Your tasks include preparing a wide range of litigation documents—Summons and Complaints, Bills of Particulars, Notices of Claim, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, settlement papers, and procedural correspondence—coordinating electronic discovery, maintaining organized case records, and tracking all discovery obligations and court‑ordered deadlines. You will draft and file pleadings, initiate actions through complaint preparation and investigations, handle service coordination, and manage electronic filing through NYSCEF. Additional duties include preparing notices to commence or preserve claims, drafting litigation letters, stipulations, and materials related to default practice. Qualifications • Detail‑oriented with strong writing, research, and analytical abilities. • Ability to thrive under pressure and enjoy substantive writing. • Experience with litigation document preparation and electronic discovery coordination is preferred.
