Position OverviewPardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Paterson, New Jersey. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.About the OrganizationPardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is situated in a state-of-the-art 5000 square feet sports medicine facility, providing an optimal environment for the rehabilitation needs of our diverse patient base. Our practice specializes in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and serves primarily clients with private medical insurance. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology, ensuring that our team can deliver effective and efficient therapy solutions.Work EnvironmentThis position is onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients in our home care facility. Collaborating closely with a team of two seasoned physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will be supported in your efforts to implement evidence-based treatments in a compassionate and patient-centered environment. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent routine that promotes work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist at Pardise Mind, you will be responsible for:Assessing patient needs and developing tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and reducing pain through individualized therapy techniques.Managing a caseload effectively with an expectation of seeing one patient per hour, ensuring timely and attentive care.Utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques to facilitate movement and reduce discomfort in patients recovering from orthopedic injuries.Educating patients on therapeutic modalities and exercises that can be conducted at home to complement their therapy sessions, thereby promoting independence.Documenting patient progress meticulously in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring accurate tracking of treatment outcomes and adjustments as necessary.Collaborating with fellow healthcare providers to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, which includes scheduling consultations as needed for comprehensive treatment.Encouraging patients through motivational strategies that enhance their engagement and efforts towards achieving their functional goals.Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans and modifying them based on patient progress and feedback.Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic clients who are seeking to restore function following surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. This demographic may include athletes looking to regain competitive performance, active adults recovering from everyday injuries, and elderly patients in need of mobility enhancement. Tailoring rehabilitation strategies to diverse needs will be a key aspect of your role, fostering an environment of trust and support.QualificationsTo be considered for this role, applicants must possess:A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, as well as a clean professional record without any disciplinary actions.Exceptional manual therapy skills coupled with an in-depth understanding of rehabilitation science and therapeutic exercises.Proficiency in using EMR software platforms, especially WebPT, for efficient patient management and documentation.Preferred ExperienceWhile not mandatory, the following experience will be advantageous:Prior work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a focus on sports medicine rehabilitation.Experience in developing unique exercise programs based on individual patient assessments.Demonstrable skills in using tools and equipment pertinent to physical therapy, as well as a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic modalities.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, PTO, and continuous professional development opportunities.
