This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide remote care while working in an outpatient setting in Normal, Illinois. This position allows for flexibility in a remote work setting while maintaining a connection to our outpatient office. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and identify tailored treatment paths.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Implement specialized interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote healing and recovery.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process trauma and develop essential coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care and treatment for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma symptoms, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards to protect client information and track progress effectively.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives related to trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
