Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday with no evening or weekend hours. As part of our telehealth facility, you will engage with clients through virtual platforms, facilitating an accommodating and innovative approach to mental health counseling. Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging and supportive group therapy sessions, creating an environment where young adults can share their experiences, learn from one another, and build community.

• Individual Therapy: Conduct thorough assessments and provide personalized, empathetic counseling that enables clients to explore their thoughts and feelings and develop effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that are goal-oriented and responsive to their unique needs, helping to ensure their continued growth and progress.

• Progress Monitoring: Employ various assessment tools and feedback methods to track and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

• Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of professionals to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and share insights that enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves young adults aged 18 to 30 who are battling mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges. As a counselor in our outpatient treatment center, you will directly impact this vulnerable population, providing them with the tools and support necessary to succeed in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Possess active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated proficiency in providing mental health treatment, with a solid understanding of evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in an outpatient or telehealth setting is preferred.

• Prior involvement in group therapy facilitation and treatment planning for young adults.

• Familiarity with assessment tools used in mental health practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, our benefits package includes ongoing education support, free clinical supervision, and paid continuing education units (CEUs) to keep your skills sharp and relevant.
