Although the majority of client interactions will take place virtually, our clinicians can also utilize our outpatient office as needed for in-person sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for all participants to express their thoughts and feelings.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to enhance overall client care and treatment outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and supervision to remain informed about current trends and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCPC at Centered Mind Therapy, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Your role will be pivotal in providing mental health support to underserved communities, ensuring that clients have access to the resources they need to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling capacity, specifically in a clinical setting.

• A solid understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental healthcare.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse client base.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n
