Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, employing standardized evaluation tools and methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique goals, preferences, and needs of each client, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Employ effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the specific requirements of individuals struggling with mood disorders.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families, fostering a deeper understanding of mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor client progress, utilizing therapeutic benchmarks and feedback to adjust treatment strategies as necessary.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required for this role.

• Must hold a current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling with a focus on mood disorders is essential.
