This role operates in a dynamic remote setting, specifically aimed at providing counseling services for clients within our detox center. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients entering detox services, identifying their unique needs and treatment goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on clients undergoing detoxification within our facility. You will work closely with individuals facing substance use disorders, providing them with the mental health services they need during a critical period of change. Many clients may also struggle with co-occurring mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, or trauma-related disorders, necessitating a trauma-informed approach in your interactions.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications will be considered a plus.

• Demonstrated proficiency in administering mental health assessments, diagnosing conditions, and devising treatment plans suited to diverse client needs.

• The aptitude for engaging effectively with clients from varied backgrounds and with different therapeutic needs.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, ideally within a detox or substance use treatment setting, is strongly preferred. Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based therapeutic modalities, along with experience in multi-disciplinary collaboration, will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
