Accounting ClerkSterling ATM, Inc is a Utah based design and manufacturing company located in Salt Lake City, Utah with a focus on manufacturing ATM enclosures for financial institutions nationwide and our easy to use Bean Trailers.About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team, with a primary focus on accounts payable. The ideal candidate is eager to build a strong foundation in AP processes, whether they are new to accounting or bring prior experience to the role. Experience with accounts receivable entry is a plus, though not required, as there may be opportunities to support AR tasks as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding to general ledger accountsMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (three-way match)Prepare payment runs for approvalReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesRespond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account issuesMaintain organized AP files and documentation for audit purposesAssist with month-end close activities related to accounts payableSupport accounts receivable entry and data processing as needed (invoicing, payment application)Perform other general accounting and administrative duties as assignedWhat We Offer:PTOHealth and Dental Insurance with HSA401k with a match up to 4%Flexible work environmentAbility to use a Bean Trailer at 6 months of continued work historyPaid HolidaysRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1-2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred, but not required for candidates with strong attention to detail and willingness to learnExperience with Epicor ERP and/or QuickBooks strongly preferredProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entryGood organizational and time-management skillsAbility to handle sensitive financial information with discretionStrong written and verbal communication skills
