The firm serves individuals and businesses in four main areas; the ideal candidate can assist specifically with Bankruptcy and Business. Business Law; from Fractional General Counsel to flat fee services, including Entertainment, Trademark, & Copyrights. Escrow services for business transactions. Estate Planning: Trusts, Wills, TODIs, Powers of Attorney, Land Trusts, and more. Real Estate: Residential and Commercial Sales and Purchases. Escrow and title insurance services, leases, investments, 1031 exchanges, and land trusts. Bankruptcy: Consumer 7 and 13, Business 7s. Can assist in debt relief alternatives if Bankruptcy is not an option. Team members work across a range of practice areas, offering practical solutions and accessible legal guidance. The firm values professionalism, responsiveness, and clear communication with clients. Role Description We are based in Naperville, IL, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with clients, and preparing and organizing legal documents for bankruptcy filings, business client needs and assisting with estate planning matters and real estate closings. Client communication, follow up and maintaining accurate case files and calendars will be pivotal. Additional tasks may include drafting correspondence, assisting with due diligence, and helping to streamline internal workflows and procedures. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with exposure to bankruptcy & business Exposure and knowledge in estate planning and real estate matters. Proficiency in Legal Document Review and Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing multiple types of contracts, and estate planning documents. Skilled in Research, including fact‑finding, case law research, and review of statutes and regulations relevant to assigned matters. Experience in Document Review, with attention to detail in identifying inconsistencies, missing information, and compliance issues. Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with attorneys, clients, and external parties. Associate’s degree or certificate in paralegal studies (or equivalent experience); bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience in a law firm or in‑house setting, ideally in multiple of the listed practice areas. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple matters and deadlines. Proficiency with legal practice management software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, PDF tools).
