VP Talent Management: Scale + M&A (Dallas, TX) Salary: $220,000 – $250,000 per year. Job Details Title: VP of Human Resources – Talent Management & Organizational Development Reports To: VP of Human Resources & Labor Relations Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – Requires 50% weekly presence in Dallas) Compensation: Up to $250,000 Base Salary + Executive Benefits Target Start Date: July 1, 2026 Position Overview We are seeking a highly strategic, execution-focused leader to oversee organizational alignment, learning and development (L&D), and performance management for a fast-growing, Private Equity‑backed industrial services organization. The role focuses strictly on Talent Management, L&D, and Organizational Design, excluding Total Rewards. The candidate will translate high‑level corporate and M&A strategies into actionable organizational structures and lead a dedicated L&D and talent management team. Key Responsibilities Operationalize high-level business and M&A strategies; restructure, align, and optimize teams to execute corporate goals. Drive post-acquisition human capital integration, rapidly onboarding acquired personnel and aligning them with corporate culture and operational standards. Design and scale technical talent development pathways to continuously upskill and "level up" specialized field technicians and engineers. Partner with Talent Acquisition to optimize the critical first 30 days of the employee lifecycle, directly driving initiatives to improve long‑term field retention. Implement specialized leadership programs to level up executive capabilities across the enterprise. Direct and mentor a talent management and L&D team, ensuring alignment with overarching business needs. Required Qualifications Proven track record in a fast‑paced Private Equity‑backed environment. Demonstrated success navigating high‑volume acquisitions and rapidly pivoting strategies. Experience managing talent frameworks for a specialized, highly technical field workforce (e.g., electrical services, heavy utilities, complex engineering). Highly developed ability to translate broad corporate visions into structured, tactical organizational design. Exceptional, concise, and structured communication with strong executive presence.
